Let's Get Spinning
Step 1
Check to see if the washer is overloaded. Modern washing machines have automatic shut-off devices for out-of-balance loads. Try removing some of the clothes out of the washer and restart it. Check to make sure the lid closes properly and that the lid switch clicks when the lid is closed. If the lid switch does not click, then the switch may need to be replaced or the lid may be bent. If the washing machine still does not spin, go to Step 2.
Step 2
Make sure the water is draining properly. If the water does not drain out, then it could cause the washing machine not to spin. Check all the drain hoses for any clogs or kinks. This is easily done by disconnecting the drain hoses and doing a visual check for clogs or kinks. Al Jafiliya Dubai Washing Machine Repair
Step 3
Check to see if any belts have came off or are loose. Unplug the washer and pull it away from the wall. Use the screwdrivers to remove the back panel. Visually check for any broken or loose belts. Replace any loose or broken belts.
Step 4
While the back panel is off, visually check for any loose or missing bolts on the motor or drum. If any are missing or loose, tighten them and replace the ones that are missing.
Step 5
If everything has checked out to this point, then the water level switch could be bad or the water level hose could be clogged. Remove the front panel of the washer and locate the clear tube going from the tub to the water level switch. If lint or debris has gotten into the water level hose, then the washer may not spin fast. Clean the debris from the hose by blowing on the hose or tapping it on the side. To check the water level switch, go to the back of the washer and locate the back end of the water level hose. Use the voltmeter to check to see if the water level switch is getting any power. Al Qusais Industrial First Dubai washing machine repair
